  • 1 batch of homemade Spaghetti sauce (you can find my homemade recipe here)
  • or
  • 2 (24 oz) jars of your favorite spaghetti sauce
  • 1 package (16 ounces) no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 egg – slightly beaten
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 15 oz container part skim ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley
  • 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

How To Make No-Boil Lasagna

Step 1: Prepare the Sauce Prepare your sauce by either making a batch of your favorite spaghetti sauce or warming 2 of your favorite jars of store bought spaghetti sauce. You can find the link to my Homemade Spaghetti Sauce Recipe here.

Step 2: Preheat and Mix Cheeses – Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). In a bowl, combine the slightly beaten egg, cottage cheese, ricotta, dried parsley, and parmesan cheese, creating a delightful cheese mixture.

Step 4: Layer It Up In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of the spaghetti sauce. Place a layer of lasagna noodles on top. Follow with half of the cheese mixture. Repeat the layers, sauce, lasagna noodles, and cheese mixture, sauce, lasagna noodles, finishing with a layer of sauce.

Step 5: Cover and Bake – Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes. Uncover and top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Return the Lasagna to the oven uncovered and broil on high for about 5 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Step 6: Rest and Enjoy – Allow the lasagna to rest for 10 to 20 minutes before slicing. Serve with a side salad and garlic bread and dinner is served!
